* Excellent quality, UV Lighting "AQUA D" White is identical in look to the higher priced UV Lighting Actinic/White 50/50, it just doesn't have the internal reflector or colorful outer cardboard bulb sleeve!
* We've fired these side-by-side with the other UV Lighting Actinic/White 50/50, and they look virtually the same. Save yourself some coin, and try out this excellent lamp, you won't be disappointed (neither will your wallet)!
* UV Lighting Actinic/White daylight bulbs are perfect if you are looking for a mix of white/blue light! They are much whiter to our eyes compared to the Aquasun, which looks pinkish when fired next to this lamp.
* 50% actinic 03 blue phosphors & 50% white spectrum.
* Color temperature: 12,000K
* 48" lamp rated for 40W (Normal Output ballasts).
* Recommended for reef application and coral health.
* Does NOT come with a 180 degree internal reflector inside the lamp.
* Note: this lamp does not have any outer cardboard sleeve, as that is how they are shipped to us. Your lamp will be carefully packed by our shipping department to ensure safe delivery. It will be a tube only, no fancy marketing packaging.

FAQ:
Q. I plugged in my new UV Lighting bulbs, and noticed a slight flicker strobing effect at the ends, is this defective?
A. It depends. There can be many causes to that type of strobing effect. Most of the time, it occurs on new ballasts, and will go away after a few days. If it persists, then it could be a number of things, such as a bad ballast, incorrect ballast or even faulty endcaps. Give us a call at 866-WOW-REEF / 866-969-7333 if it doesn't go away after a few days.
